This is a gorgeous box and it never ceases to brighten my day when it shows up on my doorstep. Each box contains new types of bookish goodies and the quality just keeps improving. Let’s dive into the August box so I can gush about the awesome things it contained.

The book this month was Ruby Red by Kerstin Geir. This book has been on my TBR forever and I can’t wait to read it! Check out the Goodreads synopsis here.

While I absolutely LOVE getting books in the mail, my favorite part of this box were the bookish goodies. Let’s start with the book swag. Sometimes I get excited over author/book swag, sometimes I don’t. It depends on what it is and who the author is or what book it is for. This month’s swag was AMAZING! Stalking Jack the Ripperhas been on my radar for months. It sounds like an awesome book and I’ve read tons of good reviews for it. I was so surprised to find signed swag for Stalking Jack the Ripper in this month’s box! There’s a tattoo, signed bookplate, and a signed bookmark! These are definitely going into my collection of favorite swag items. Also included in this month’s box is a signed Six of Crows bookplate! I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love Leigh Bardugo or the Grishaverse so this is another awesome item that everyone will love.

Now we’re getting to my favorite parts of the August box. CHECK OUT THESE COASTERS!!!!!! I am in LOVE! I love finding new ways to incorporate my love of books into my house and what better way than bookish coasters. These coasters have pages from Harry Potter on them, who could resist that?! They are well made and included cleaning instructions so you can keep them nice and help them last forever.

Have you heard of Novelly Yours? Brittany from The Book Addict’s Guide makes the coolest bookish candles. She puts a lot of time and thought in to them to match a favorite book, literary character, etc. I have been eyeing these candles since she announced her new business forever ago. I was floored when I saw the Cress candle in the August box. It smells SO yummy! If you are a Lunar Chronicle fan, you need this candle. If you’re not a fan, you need it anyway because it smells delicious!

My absolute, number 1, most favorite part of this box were the magnetic bookmarks from The Sticker Alley. IT’S CLAIRE AND JAMIE!!!!!! They are so stinking cute, I can’t get over how cute they are! I love getting to see some of my favorite literary characters and using them to hold my place in a new book. The best part, however, is the magnets. No more bookmarks falling out of your book! The magnets hold the bookmark on to the page so it won’t fall out and get lost.

As usual, Jessica included a super cute My World of Books bookmark, and this month’s theme is Harry Potter. She also included a card letting you know how to order more bookish goodies if you like what you received. I love that she does that, I most definitely need more candles, bookmarks, and coasters! The final item is another card that highlights upcoming fantasy releases that her subscribers might be interested in. I was really, really pleased with this month’s box. I was literally shrieking as I looked inside! If you have not subscribed to this box yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Follow this link, and subscribe by the 15th to get September’s box!
